Mark’s career commenced with 4 years in Retail Management, Mark then developed his own Sales and Marketing Company specialising in the independent retail sector. Over a 9-year period Mark acquired valuable business and consultancy experience. The result was Mark developed a wide range of key management and business skills, listening to customers' and suppliers' needs whilst developing and communicating a sound business strategy.

In 1990 Mark sold his business and followed his lifelong ambition to train as a professional actor. Following a three year diploma course at Mountview Theatre School in London. Mark made his West End debut in Les Miserables, playing the role of Jean Valjean. Numerous Theatre and TV appearances over a 6-year career gave Mark valuable performance and improvisational experience.

From 1999 Mark discovered a new passion; people development. Mark’s business experience mixed with his acting skills made him a valuable corporate role-player, trainer and facilitator. Mark has subsequently worked in numerous industry sectors including: Automotive, FMCG, Banking, Insurance, Consultancy, Legal, Pharmaceuticals, Insurance, IT, Telecoms, Hotel and Hospitality.

Mark joined the Ridley Fleming team of independent Consultants in 2002 working with a diverse range of clients including; Bank of Scotland, Eversheds, Burges Salmon, SJ Berwin, Mills and Reeve, Mourant, Shoosmiths & Irwin Mitchell.

Mark has the Certificate of Training Practice (with Distinction) and is a member of the CIPD, he is an accredited practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and has an OND in Business Studies.
