Peter is responsible for the commercial management of Huthwaite Legal's business and is actively involved in business development. He has many years' commercial experience as Managing Director, Divisional General Manager and Group Marketing Director, for several leading PLCs and in sectors including Construction and Retail. He has been involved in bringing companies to the stock market, and is very familiar with the running of large commercial businesses.

Peter's role as Director for Huthwaite Legal involves, in addition to his management responsibilities, providing clients with consultancy services, particularly in the areas of Business Development, Strategic Marketing and Tenders. He works mainly with Managing Partners and Practice Area Heads and enjoys getting to the heart of the client's firm to provide the best solution to fit their needs. His first hand experience of IPO, MBO and Business Strategy at Group and Operating level ensures Huthwaite Legal's consultancy and training services incorporate a realistic and pragmatic 'client perspective'.

Peter provides strategic advice on business development for all sizes of client firms, both national and international. One of his key projects has been the development of a programme that enables clients to assess the business development capabilities of their employees which leads to more personal and pertinent development.

Peter's approach is to help his clients "think client" which enables both parties to quickly and efficiently identify key issues and tailor an appropriate solution. He is a regular speaker at conferences and has had several papers published.
